This course provides the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.

Who requires training:

• all persons who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of settings, including community and workplace settings.

​Delivery method:

• Blended pre-course online training, then face-to-face assessment.

Course content:

• Respond to an emergency situation
• Apply appropriate first aid procedures
• Coordinate first aid activities until arrival of medical assistance
• Communicate details of the incident
• Evaluate the incident and own performance

• Asthma Management (Ventolin Inhaler) and Anaphylaxis Management (Adrenaline Epi-Pen)

Course options:

• Express (1-2 hours*) -  If you are trained regularly, check out our express course to refresh your skills.​​
• Standard (8 hours) -  If you haven't received training in the past 12 months, the standard course will be your best choice.
